The board of Webis Holdings Plc ("Webis" or "the Group"), the global on-line gaming group, is pleased to announce the appointment with immediate effect of Edward (Ed) William Reginald Comins (age 40) as Pari-mutuel Operations Director.

Ed Comins has around 20 years’ experience of the betting and gaming industry and prior to joining Webis worked for companies including Coral, Ladbrokes and the Tote. He joined Webis in January 2007 as Chief Operating Officer of European Wagering Services ("EWS"), the Group’s pari-mutuel operation and is also a director of European Wagering Services Limited, one of Webis’ wholly owned subsidiary companies.

Garry Knowles, Managing Director of Webis, said: "Ed has played a key role in driving forward EWS since joining the Group in 2007 and I would now like to welcome him to our board. We believe that Ed’s contribution at board level will be highly relevant and beneficial to the Group’s continuing development".

Ed Comins’ appointment as Pari-mutuel Operations Director of Webis is subject to approval by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. No other information in respect of Mr Comins is required to be disclosed pursuant to Schedule Two (g) of the AIM Rules.
